Why 7-14 Days?

We allow 7-14 days due to a few reason. We like to allow paint and coatings to thoroughly dry between applications and before despatch so they are ready to be used from delivery. Busy times and order size will also effect lead times.

What is prime oak?

The world prime has always been used to indicate the top grade of timber. It’s criteria is used to verify the mechanical property of the timber visually.

When to recoat?

What paint is used?

Water based weather resistant acrylic paint is used for long lasting results. Three coats of paint are applied for longevity.

How often to re oil cutting boards?

Cutting boards require maintenance when they start to look/feel dry but every 3-4 weeks is a a good idea. Please see the Care & Maintenance page for further information.
